I'm Pete Crosbie. My wife Jeannette, daughter Paris and I live at Willowite Animal Sanctuary in south eastern Australia. Willowite is a 45 acre rocky piece of land  on

Thompsons Creek in Freshwater Creek.

At Willowite we are vegan and rescue, foster and adopt as many animals as we can. We currently have about 130 mammals and 50 birds. I will publish many photos of the beautiful creatures we share our lives with. They are all different and all have individual personalities. What they share is the basic right to life and freedom from oppression and exploitation.



The beautiful creature staring at you now is Arnie. She was rescued by brave people from slaughter to become part of our lives for several months in 2012. Sadly she succumbed to her medical conditions and died on Nov 14 2012.

Her passing was heartbreaking for all who know this brave little soul.
